**Urbanredneck** may have Neanderthal ancestry, but the dominant strain in his ancestry is [troglodyte](https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=troglodyte). Of the several definitions, I think the most suitable are “_A person considered to be reclusive, reactionary, out of date, or brutish_” and, in particular, “_A lower-functioning subspecies humanoid that usually inhabits subterranean dwellings, and enjoys frequenting Wal-Mart._” Evidence for all the above abounds. [This one comment alone](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=18970042#post18970042) pretty much establishes that those definitions are appropriate. ---
