I’m not one to normally complain about posters here, but come on. There should be some sort of rule about posting a link and then deliberately misrepresenting what the link says. Edited to add: Not you **Muffin**. I mean I’ve seen UR post several links and then “explain” the link and it turns out it doesn’t say at all what he claims it says. ---

This is some big steamy fucking pile of white privilege right here. Is UR2 complaining about wealthy kids that buy their way into college and take a space that might have gone to his son? No. Is he complaining about less qualified legacy students that are taking a place and scholarships that might have gone to his son? No. Is he complaining that alumni and donors are wielding influence to get their friend’s kids scholarships that might have gone to his son? No Is he complaining about the rigged system of for-profit colleges and universities that make it impossible for him to educate his son without financial help? No. But some philanthropists and organizations decided to help children without the advantages his son had get a quality education. Children that truly need a little extra help. **THIS** is what he decides to complain about. Some person or organization he doesn’t know and that owes him nothing tries to help someone less advantaged, and all UR2 can think of is that it’s unfair that they didn’t give that money to his kid. The cluelessness and selfishness is mind boggling. ---

They can say whatever they want. Blink wrong at the wrong person or dare to say something they dont like and they start name calling. Truth is they live in a shell and havent been where I have. If they would have been there talking to the people I talked to they would learn something. But, they wont. ---

Extrapolating some bad experiences with black people to mass judgments about millions of strangers based on the color of their skin is one of the most basic and simplest form of racism there is. ---
