I ALWAYS end up working the night the clocks spring forward. I bartended last night. It was a case of more than ordinary hostility at closing. “IT’S THREE &%#@'ING FIFTEEN IN THE %#@&'ING MORNING PEOPLE! GET OUT! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE NOW!” _sigh_ I do love the extra sunlight though, once I get over my rage. ---

My computers reset–so how come the atomic clock in my kitchen didn’t? It’s still an hour behind. Most annoying. ---

Whoa, this caught me by surprise today. It was mid-afternoon before I noticed the time on the computer. My bedside clock is a few years old so its built-in schedule is out of date. I manually set it today, so three weeks from now it’s going to jump forward another hour. ---

Be careful out there on the roads- [there are more traffic accidents the first workday after the start of DST](http://www.canada.com/topics/news/story.html?id=3b57f55e-1c87-4f46-b486-a0a1e9c01ed1&k=7211). [/QUOTE] If yours is like the atomic clock I have in my bathroom, you have to fiddle around with it to switch it to DST mode. Even with the new DST schedule, there’s still enough time between “fall back” and “spring forward” that I forget how to do it… ---

Done, thanks. I was actually able to get to bed pretty early on Saturday night so, despite the lost hour, I slept longer and more deeply than I have in weeks. It’s all good. ---

The computers at work didn’t reset their clocks. The program we clock in and out with did, but not Windows itself. None of us knew why on Sunday, and those of us who were there early were too sleepy to give a fuck.
