My Mom called me ranting about politics this week (because this week hasn’t been stressful enough) and was ranting about how people are trying to get HER representative to resign and they can’t take away HER vote that easily - so she was going to be out peacefully protesting, I guess. She kept saying her rep shouldn’t have to resign until she was proven to have committed wrongdoing. I didn’t really look into what was going on but if she was talking about THIS lady… oh, boy. ---

I’m saying that Trump has not been declared incapacitated, nor will he be. If they got to Pence, on Jan 6 or tomorrow, Pelosi would not be President. ---

I think that its clear that they wanted to take out the chain of command. They knew the line of succession, take out Pence and Pelosi and Trump is President for life. She should be in prison right now for giving the insurrectionists any intel. ---

She was elected from western Colorado. It is a non-small district that includes Steamboat Springs, Grand Junction, Rifle, Aspen, Durango, Alamosa, Walsenburg, Pueblo and points in between. ---

Yes, but they don’t think the election was valid so Biden wouldn’t take over on January 20. So the goal to them, was to take them both out. Rep. Lauren Boebert giving any intel on Pelosi’s whereabouts helped MAGAs cause. She should be charged accordingly. ---

There is a whole chain of succession with more than a dozen people in it, most of whom were not in the Capitol. Yes but the direct line is Pelosi. We know they were planning to kill the VP. It goes from Trump to Pence to Pelosi. Why are we playing games with this? I think we are going to see, in retrospect, that we are suffering from a failure of imagination at this moment. We aren’t seeing what is coming together before our eyes. We are watching the beginning of the end game to the greatest crime in our nation’s history. It’s so unthinkable that we don’t know how to think it, and even if we think it, it’s too crazy to say out loud. In 2016, the federal government of the United States of America was co-opted by a criminal organization and they really don’t want us to see what they’ve been up to. And they really don’t want to go away. I don’t have time to lay out my case tonight, but I’m working on it. ---

I’ve said in other posts that the US, as it was known, was over for sure in '16. I said back then, on this board there is no coming back from this. We have to think about the future now, which of course won’t be seen in my lifetime. We have to make the decision now on what path we go. So far it doesn’t look good. ---

If Trump is still in the White House after that, Biden can instruct the Secret Service to escort him out of the building. Trump’s own Secret Service detail would undoubtedly assist them. ---

Dude. Get a grip. The information about the line of succession was for _your_ reference since you are apparently having hysterics about it. Most of the insurrectionists are too stupid to understand that their plan was _useless_. There are plenty of people to step in for the last 10 days of Trump’s presidency if it became necessary (and it apparently won’t be, more’s the pity), so killing Pence and Pelosi does the insurrectionists and Trump no good at all, and Biden will still be President on January 20. Killing their way down the line of succession doesn’t change that. It will never change that. However, if they had succeeded in killing either Pence or Pelosi or both, no hole in the world would be deep enough for them.
