What if for every question you answered, “I respectfully decline to answer based on my sincere belief that I may tend to incriminate myself?”

I think you’d have an extended chat in chambers with the judge, the prosecutor, defense counsel and a court reporter. It might not be a pleasant experience for you.

I think jury duty may be the most detested civic obligation we have, though I have found it rather interesting provided I actually sit for a trial, instead of being rejected with or without cause as usually happens.
