Oh, man. The images that these two posts call up. Those images will linger.

If you combine snort and chortle, do you get snortle? Cause I think I’m snortling.

If they’re still doing this in December, will the little parachutes and streamers be green and red, to give the trees that Christmas ornament look?

But “chortle” is already a portmanteau of “snort” and “chuckle”. Perhaps you’re snuckling, to shift the emphasis. Or perhaps not; “snuckling” sounds a bit…off, don’t you think?

Snuckling sounds almost pornographic. I’ll stick with snortle, even if it is [snort]^2 + [chuckle].
