One of the good things that I hope will arise out of this election is that all the young people who participated this time will take away an understanding that when they vote, they really can make a difference. Once you get that, you keep doing it. And that can be nothing but good for democracy going forward. ---

Waves hand in the air. I was one of those votes. I voted at a drop box and while my vote was accepted quite a while back, the webpage _just_ said it had been counted. My BFF and her daughters might have been in that drop as well because they voted after my BFF got off work at 5. All is not yet lost. I think I’m going to puke. ---

I think that’s a good enough spread to avoid the legally mandated recount, but it sure won’t stop the Lake recount demands. ---

Yeah…but that was done well after the election and would not have changed anything no matter what they turned up. It was not a government run re-count. ---

Trust me, I know this. But are you quite sure it wouldn’t have changed the results? Lake, Masters and many others agree that the 2020 election results were invalid and Trump is still crying that he the results should be tossed out. I live in about the reddest part of AZ, the stuff I hear would curl your hair. This bunch doesn’t really care much about the rule of law, all they care about is getting the results they want. Hence my above incorrect prediction that Prescott will burn. It won’t be Prescott, it will be Phoenix and the burning will probably start at the capital building. ---

I think once the election is certified and the person has taken office that’s the end of it. Even if they find out later they did not win it is too late. If that happened the person could, in theory, be impeached and removed from office. Of course, there is a political angle here that helps some of the base believe the election was stolen which I think was the whole point in the first place. If they proved it was a sham that’s just a bonus.
