Chump could not postpone the election even if he wanted to. That is simply not possible.
Second- or third-wave COVID spikes in the next 6 months. Economy crashing further. Massive unrest. Time to declare emergency and martial law, station troops at county voting offices to maintain order, and take dissidents into protective custody. Surviving SCOTUS justices might rule on legality in a year or three.

And then, on January 20th, Trump’s term ends and President Schumer has him clapped in irons.
Schumer and all other [del]enemies[/del] chattering Dems will be in protective custody by Hallowe’en. For their own good. Locked in cages with predators at the Capitol Zoo. They’ll be quite safe there. Or maybe by the Ft Riley KS ammo bunkers located inside the fenced Custer Hill buffalo paddock. Nobody trespasses or escapes.
Another scenario occurred to me. The election is a chaotic mess. 18 states accounting for 75 electoral votes, for various reasons, are unable to submit their EVs by the designated day in early December. On the basis of the electoral report, Biden is the winner by 225 to 135: late states are seen to be just SoL, because, they were late. By the 29th of December, the remaining states have certified (there was a lot of controversy in PA), Biden receiving 50 additional EVs to his opponent’s 25.
Individual-ONE raises all kinds of held, trying to declare the election invalid due to, reasons, even though he clearly lost, twice. He screams for a do-over and has to be forcibly evicted from the WH (actually, on the 17th, he returns from M-a-L to find that the locks have been changed).
