I hate to admit it but I’m not sure which Interstate we were coming along … whether I-10 or I-40. This was back in 1979 or so. I do remember sleeping out in the open with all the stars above. It was the first time I had ever been West and I thought the landscape was so alien looking but so very cool, too. ---

Grave, I’m curious about a few points and was hoping you would elaborate. Where are you speaking? In what capacity are you speaking? Why where you chosen to speak if your only connection is family members and you live an hour away? Also, I’m sure everyone here would be interested in a recap.
