For Ohio statewide races, things are really close. But Cuyahoga County (Cleveland et al) is less than half reported, and Lucas County (Toledo et al) has zero reported. So there should be a windfall for D’s once those get sorted out. That’s why Acton and Brown are a lock, too. But the smaller statewide races for judges and treasurer and stuff are really close. ---

The minister wins Kansas and the seminary student wins Texas, both shocking results. If El-Sayed wins Michigan, the commentators are going to twist themselves into knots trying to explain what future direction Democrats should take. ---

After Rogers closing in on Abdul for most of the past hour, the latest update just looked good for Abdul (went from 3.3 points up to 4.1, with about 45% now reporting). Still, not feeling celebratory yet, even with all the flips. This is the one that I really, really want. ---

I knew it was going to be bad here in Texas for Republicans, but this is a whole new level. Texas didn’t just “turn blue” - it became so blue that a bower bird would want to mate with it. ---

For the Senate, the Republicans have not (yet) won a single “Key Race”, but Maine, Michigan, Minnesota and Nebraska have not yet been called. Minnesota does not look good for the Dems. ---
