Our ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation, government funded) is running polling and results from 10am AEDT until app 6pm today (I believe). So I’m switching between watching that and checking in here. ---

I’m watching broadcast news for the first time since November 2024. NBC News is available for free streaming on Samsung TV Plus (available on all Samsung smart tee vees), with Kornacki. Also following NYT coverage. And of course, watching the posts here! So far, things are looking quite good for Dems. ---

I’m watching CNN and following the magic wall on their website. For TX, I’ll be closely watching the suburbs of Houston and Dallas. My guess is the bellwether counties will be Fort Bend (Sugarland, southwest of Houston proper) and Tarrant (Fort Worth). If Talarico takes those two, he should win the race. ---

I’m very happy with ossoff, it was a nail biter in his last race. Kept swinging and he edge of teeth. Wow! His lead just jumped. ---

Early reports looking good for Bottoms in Georgia. Florida is seeing massive shifts to the left in Hispanic areas, though it seems unlikely to be enough to win the statewide races there. ---
