54.3% of AK is in Petola (D): 78,961 - 48.1% Dan S. Sullivan (R): 78,709 - 48.0% One of the Independents is Daniel J Sullivan Jr with 2,693 - 1.6% This is the basis of a potential lawsuit. The Republicans did the same thing with a House race in Texas and it probably cost the Dems the seat there. ---

I think maybe Michigan pollworkers and county clerks have gone to bed - no more updates until tomorrow. Alaska, where it’s not as late at night yet, is still counting, but not for much longer (until tomorrow). I’m guessing. ---

Democrats won that back and forth gerrymandering battle handily. The Republicans failed to clip most of the seats they gerrymandered - I think they got two? Meanwhile, every single retributively gerrymandered seat in California went to the Dems. This is what that blue wave that never materialized would have been like. ---
