You’re forgetting the Grant of Rights. Not only is there a buy-out, but you also don’t own the media rights. ---

Cal and Stanford will only get 30% of their share of media revenue, and SMU will get NO media revenues for nine years. I guess beggars can’t be choosers. ---

All the marbles of the Pac-2 are going to be on the line this week: Oregon State is playing at Washington State. There’s a rumor going around that OSU and WSU will be joining the Big 12. I’ll put a link to my source below, but it’s just a couple guys jawing about it. They don’t know for sure either, and unless you’re really interested, it’s probably not worth watching. The two things I got from it was it was that their source was fairly reliable and that the restraining order that OSU and WSU got against the league was probably a big factor.
