The Coquettes? Heck, I would have expected USC’s cheerleaders to be called [the Trojan women](http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/cgi-bin/ptext?doc=Perseus:text:1999.01.0123). Not exactly the image that sets people to cheering, no, but still more in line with the mascot’s name. ---
