# Used Pay It Square or other site to pool money for a gift?

I’m part of a large group loosely organized around a shared activity. A couple in this group has a baby on the way. When I was chatting with them today I realized that while they’d like to do a childbirth preparation class, the cost was going to be difficult for them.

With the number of people in this group that absolutely adore this couple a bunch of $5 to $10 donations will easily add up to the price of a class ($250-$400). I just need a way for people to donate online.

The most promising site I’ve found for managing this kind of thing is called [payitsquare.com](http://www.payitsquare.com/). Has anybody used this? Or know of a great site for this kind of thing?

We’ve used Paypal on multiple occasions. There’s also the old cash into the envelope technique.
