Gotta admit I’m fond of CrankyAsAnOldMan myself. He gets my vote. \ For months now I’ve been posting with that “ID my handle and win a prize” as a part of my sig. Whatever else I’ve changed…that has been constant. **Only Ellen has ever tried!** Thanks Ellen! You da bomb! There’s a real, honest to goodness prize involved here. I’m a bomb! How 'bout that! Jonathan, every time I see you post I’m reminded that I need to go questing for the source of your name again. I am always motivated by a prize. However, I must admit that at my house we are pretty much waist-deep in adorable stuffed animals. 😉 Moe, Moe. I think we’re kindred spirits. I was thinking of your name and was reminded I used to call one of my high school boyfriends, Joey, “Joe Schmoe from Buffalo.” He in turn called me “Dot Schmot from Camelot,” which was pretty clever, since my middle name is Dorothy. 😃 ---

I find **Drain Bead** to be the most original. I remember seeing someone post that **BoogarheelCatastrophe** ( c&p’ed from **MrX** - see his disclaimer ) was an unfortunate choice for a user name. I didn’t understand why. I thought that **Arnold Winkelried** was a real name. I think I will investigate this famous pikeman. ---

I was going to use my initials, too, and then I realized they might look bad (or good) LKR. I don’t know if the teeming millions would interpret that as “licker” or “looker,” so I opted out. Not that those aren’t true, as you can gather from my sig: ---

I like the name **London\_Calling** despite the conflict I feel whenever I see it. Do I think about WWII or my favorite band, _The Clash_? Also, the names **EvilGhandi, Imthecowgodmoo, neutron star, rastahomie, Spiritus Mundi, Thing 1,** and **Wonko The Sane** tend to stand out to me. I’m not sure how much of the personalities of the posters play in to this. I guess my own name is a tad hard to spell. My own sister **kiffa** can’t seem to get it right. It’s easy (and lower case because it’s a species name): b…r…a…c…h…y…(um, wait a minute while I scroll up)…r…h…y…n…c…h…o…s. ---

I like Drain Bead, just for the imagery it generates. My initials are KRAF. For a long time, I thought I was destined to marry someone whose last name began with the letter T, but then I realized that I was just destined to go through middle school with the nickname macaroni and cheese. They wonder why I go by andygirl. ---
