# Using TiVo to record Jay Leno's monologue

Some people will question my taste, but can Tivo be programmed to record only Jan Leno’s monologue, rather than the entire 60-minute show? I’m often on travel and have no interest in the bulk of his show. I think the opening monologue portion runs about 15 minutes.

Yep -

First, go to \*\*Pick Programs to Record \*\* - then \*\*Record by Time or Channel \*\* - then **Manually Record Time/Channel**.

Choose your local NBC station and what time \*The Tonight Show \* starts and choose \*\*Repeating \*\* and **Every Mon-Fri**. I’d choose Channel 12, begin recording at 10:35 p.m. and end recording at 10:50 p.m.
