I live in Ohio. We have so much ground water that [a city near me dumps 350,000 gallons of well water into a river each day](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/is-it-wrong-or-unethical-to-waste-good-water-for-art-or-entertainment-purposes/944972), for art & entertainment purposes.
