Mine is working better now that the election is over
Curious about this, I signed up. The last three days have been dead-on accurate.
Although I’ve been retired from the USPS for nearly 15 years and can’t comment on recent specifics, I can tell you that the agency has a history of buying into ideas that look great on paper and don’t work out so well in practice. Innovations are often poorly developed, rolled out too early and left to flounder. Seems like once someone gets their bonus for a great idea they wander off.
I’ve only had Informed Delivery for a couple of months and for the most part it’s been reliable and accurate. Some mail pieces don’t have a picture but they are usually junk mail.
There was only one day that no pictures were available, and that included first class pieces. That was the day after the Columbus Day holiday, but I can’t say that had anything to do with it.
I like the service.
