Billy Mays seems to have some pretty decent merchandise. Has anyone tried it? ---

nope, to be honest I have only gotten 2 things from infomercials - about 15 years ago a vacuum meal sealer that also has some nice storage cannisters with it, and a [laptop stand](http://www.thenerds.net/DYMO_CORPORATION.ROLODEX_LAPTOP_STAND_.82410.html?affid=8&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=82410%5E~%5EDYMO%20CORPORATION) sort of like this one, but plastic and for the $20US it came with a wifi spotter as well. i cant give you the actual site because the link is on my other computer. I do know someone who prefers buying from [Ronco](http://www.popeilfamilystore.com/roncoproducts.html) - they have the counter top roaster, and the pocket fisherman. ---

I am ordering a second one for the second laptop I just got. I play World of Warcraft, an the processor can get very hot, and it keeps it cooler, noticabley cooler. It puts the keyboard at a good angle for sitting in bed and using a hospital desk, and you can keep loose pens, nail files, sticky notes in it. oddly enough, it looks cheap and cheesy - it is a translucent plastic, and has 3 fairly heavy elastic bands. One goes around the bottom portion of the laptop to hold it to the base, and a second one sort of hangs out so when you close everything up to transport the laptop, it bands around the outside of the closed laptop to bundle everything together and the third one is paired with the first one at the bottom of the laptop to secure that part when everything is bundled up for transport. Best 20 I have spent in a while. ---

It wasn’t from Billy Mays but I bought a Pedegg (footshaver thingy) from an infomercial and it totally rocks! No more nasty calluses on my feets. ---

BILLY MAYS STUFF IS OKAY! IT USUALLY WORKS, AT LEAST, WHICH IS MORE THAN YOU CAN SAY FOR A LOT OF “AS SEEN ON TV” PRODUCTS! THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE WITH HIM IS HIS VOICE! I love anything with the ‘As Seen on TV’ emblem. Although once, I did see a meat thermomater with a similar loge that read, “Similar to product Seen on TV” which kind of blew my mind. I did buy one of those hair trimmers that I think Mr. May pitches. It worked very well for about 5 years and only recently did I have to replace it. ---

**Kaboom!** is the best thing I’ve ever used to clean my bathroom–it works as well as the claims Mays makes. I also like the OxyClean–the little prepackaged wipes have saved an outfit or two for me! I wondered about the Hercules Hooks–I might have to get some now! Has anyone tried the Mighty Putty? If that stuff works like they say on TV, I’ve got a few repair jobs I could use it for! ---

never could get oxy clean to work… i know it wont take grenadine out of a hotel room carpet… ---

I absolutely love infomerscials. Not the stuff on them, but the concept. I wanna cash in. There is one for that exercise ball that said you could use it to exercise 4 different ways. One of those ways was: You can sit on it to lift weights. The fact that people will buy that crap anyway - I love that. I just have to figure out how to take advantage. ---

Flowbee is GREAT!!! Husband thinks it cuts hair very good. However, I need a replacement plastic piece. Let’s see how that works. So is Oxy Clean. Orange Glo is FANTANSTIC!!! ---

I picked up some [Mighty Putty](https://www.mightyputty.com/spark/index.php?ai=8&tag=mpsc100) a couple of weeks ago at Target–I’m now looking around the house for stuff it can fix–which is _everything!_! I love it…but the only problem: the smell is like that of a cheap nail salon ---
