Yeah, that’s not fun either, but that’s only a .25% rate hike on a small portion of my loans. In my case, that’s only a $10/year increase. The grad-student-deferment subsidy was going to cover all the interest on five figures worth of loans. ---

I have to rant about my studip clumsy pregnant self. I was playing outside with kid#1 and had to run in to get something. Unfortunetly my 9 month pregnant belly prevents me from seeing my damn feet and I step on a rolling kid toy. One leg goes in one direction, the other splays out behind me and I ever so gracefully do my impression of the slpits on the kitchen floor. So I have one scraped up knee and I think I pulled a something in my groin. Now standing and walking is even harder than it normally is. Grumble grumble grumble. And I need to clean the house for company tonight. Oh and my doc says that the kid is probably set for back labor and I should spend time on all fours to get him to turn. Which I can’t do on a hurt knee. Grumble grumble. ---

I got a goddamn cold. So bad I called in sick to work today and did nothing but lay on the couch eating chicken soup and taking NyQuil. I can’t go to work tomorrow, either, because I work in a hospital, so I have to be sure that whatever this damn cold is, it’s gone when I come back. ---

Trying to make a single image to go onto some marketing materials. This image must take a 4 dimensional business concept, and easily communicate it in a 2 dimensional space, and be simple enough that I can write a script and hand it off to a few folks to present. I need some montage music to play while I fast forward through the night, miraculously resulting in completed work sometime around dawn. ---

I’m sorry for your kitty ☹ I once knew a man who had stroked out and not only couldn’t use his left side, he totally forgot about it. People were constantly having to move his left leg up onto the wheelchair footrest because he’d get stuck while running over his foot. He mangled his hand badly in the wheel once as well. I don’t know enough about it to know if he couldn’t feel pain on that side or just ignored it. Brains can be even stranger than cats, and that’s saying a lot.
