# Utopia (Ch4 series- 2013)

Now that series 1 is over, I would like to know what the Dope thinks about this British conspiracy theory show.

There’s plenty to discuss, but one point I do find mind-boggling is that the show’s one of the most impressive instances of the bad guys actually making a very compelling argument to justify their ruthlessness I’ve ever heard of.

The practical problem is

that once it becomes clear that most of the world’s gone sterile and they can’t trace the cause, the lucky 5-10% will become fodder for experiments to find a cure, and in general, the whole world will devolve into Lord of the Flies soon enough. 95% of the population won’t appreciate knowing that their lineage won’t be part of the future of humanity and that they are just riding out their days.
