During the recent pandemic, I changed the address on my drivers licence online to an address in a different state so as to be able to cross the closed state border. No arguments from the Vehicle licensing body but when I renewed my gun license it clearly confused the sh1t out of someone so it came with no address on it. 😂 ---

As for the politics of whomever launched the parody advertisement and web page, it is hard to be sure. They could be trying to make fun of the pro-gun enthusiast viewpoint. But they could be trying to show how gullible the other side is. Or it could be a non-political effort to get attention. ---

But that doesn’t change the fact that we have a reasonably efficient and functional bureaucracy that handles something like 100 million cars and at least tens of millions of transactions per year. Title guns. Register guns. Require licenses. Licenses require training. That sounds very familiar (cars, if I must be ham-fisted). And it would go a long way to preventing the straw man purchases that feed the urban violence. It would probably do less to combat mass killings. I’m not anti-gun. But I’m not willing to throw up my hands and declare the problem unsolvable. ---
