GOD FUCKING DAMNIT!!!:mad::mad::mad: My fucking local ABC station interupted the show to annouce Sestak’s primary victory _just as they were about to show the baby_! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: Someone plealse tell me what did it look like?
Loved the episode. Anna felt human emotion for the first time. Just what is the expected Visitor reaction to something like that. She was perfectly willing to abort a “weak” egg, but an entire viable batch of strong eggs destroyed like that? Only 12 survivors who might have all sorts of medical problems requiring euthanasia? 😃 And Erica & Lisa pulled it off with Anna still allied with them. Loved Fr Jack’s sermon. So, what does anyone think the red sky clouds mean? Some sort of bioweapon like in the original (only made by Vs & directed at humans)? Whatever it is Anna’s hast might have just destroyed all the good PR she built up. She’s going to have a hard time explain _that_ without admiting that the 5th Column isn’t just human terrorists. I can see Chad going either way, but I kinda want to seem him continue collaborating with Anna in spite of what he knows. The original had several willing collaborators like that; this show needs at least one.

They didn’t actually show the baby, though they did have a shot of its tail dangling out of the blanket.

I am so upset that there was no homage to the original series’ awesome baby tongue sticking out scene that I will no longer watch. (No, wrapping a little lizard tail around Daddy’s finger doesn’t cut it).
And my office has better security than that ship.

I was between “liked it” and “loved it” - the only thing I did not like was that we did not get to see Anna flash her teeth and lizardy eyes when she became so enraged. But I did like the show an awful lot!!

I liked that they’ve shifted the paradigm a bit. Ryan is out of play, so there’s mrs mystery rather than people just stupidly not asking questions.
I think Hobbes will stay on the good side, or at least work both sides.
Ryan’s girlfriend, eh, once the baby was out she’d outlived her purpose.
I think it’s kind of reached Stage Two. Hope the fifth column is a little more intelligent this time around.
Now, the big question. Is Marcus Fifth Column, or did Joshua just wake up to become a dashing belt-and-boots combination?

His face is hard to read, but he didn’t have a very “oh fuck, I’m gonna get tortured to death” look to him.

Is there no security and completely open access to all doors on the ship? Strolling in and ice-bombing the eggs was a bit too easy. Anna could’ve uncovered everything with just a few cameras.
Other than that, I’m still hooked. Curious what the red sky will do… Reminds me of the red dust, but that was used against the Vs.

In the original series, wasn’t there twin babies? I recall a lizardy-looking one who didn’t survive, and then baby Liz \ who looked human but had a lizard forked tongue & aged quickly.
Other than the cut-open-the-skin to reveal the lizard skin test for the 5th column meeting, wasn’t this the first “reveal” of lizard-like appearance?

The only thing I can think on the complete lack of security is that since her minions shouldn’t be capable of rebellion that internal security isn’t needed.
But they’ve apparently been dealing with the 5th Column for quite a while so that doesn’t make any sense any more.

I generally enjoyed it. V is not a great series, but for the general level of quality of the series, this was one of the better episodes. I did enjoy that two of the team seem posed to switch sides. And that Chad and Lisa have gone from ambiguous to Good guys.
I didn’t like that the trailers promised the V’s plan would be revealed. It totally was not revealed. We know now that V’s are experimenting on humans, and planned to turn the sky red eventually but Anna did that early. But not what either thing means.
I found the super coyness of not showing the hybrid baby to be supremely annoying.
I found FBI girl’s dramatic leap through obviously CGI doors to be ridiculous. (Although enjoyably so in a cheesy way lol).
I found the team’s standing up in the nearly empty church next to a known televised terrorist to be bizarrely inept! Especially with Chad Decker there! Surely he recognized him.
I’m confused abut Marcus. He revived Joshua and seemed slightly pleased that Anna was feeling emotion. Is he fifth column?
Had it not been renewed, I would have wanted more, but since it was, I found it to have sufficiently advanced the plot.
The red sky thing would seem to be something the V’s can’t talk their way out of. So I’m wondering where the series will go from here.

Well yeah. The entire show could not exist if the Vs had security cameras on their ships, or if they had regular cameras instead of blurry infrared cameras on their spiky drones.
