I’m bewildered how someone is able to afford to go to sex shops and buy dildoes but can’t afford a women’s health clinic. You need to see a doctor or hcp for regular checks.

Is there a kit for such a thing, or am I supposed to just go to the sex shop and say, "I’ll have one of those, one of those, and one of those…"**

Now there is an interesting picture. 😃

Just as a general piece of advice, you probably want to stop somewhere before The Nightstick.

uh, TMI alert…

i’m in a long distance relationship, and find that for the first day or two when i see my guy things are very uncomfortable. i’m talking actual pain and blood and stuff.

by the end of the week it’s all good though (we’re a once or twice daily couple).

so my advice is…

drink a couple of glasses of wine, grit your teeth and just get it on.
lots.

Call your local Planned Parenthood. They often will prescribe pills before examining you. But you should get regular paps anyway. Instead of trying to “relax” the vagina, try pushing out. Like you would to urinate. That seems to help.

I don’t think you should be bleeding when you have sex. I don’t think that is normal. You might want to use extra lubricant.

I went without sex for three years and when I finally got around to doing it again, it was painful the first few times. I would strongly recommend using a lot of lubricant.

I used to have the same problem - I couldn’t even use a tampon without pain. Then I bought a vibrator, put alot of lube on it, and gently eased it in over a few days, while watching TV. I was surprised at how quickly I became comfortable with it. The vibrations help relax you and putting a condom on it causes less irritation (for me anyway - some people are allergic to the latex), and use water-based lube.

nah, bleeding the first couple of times IS normal for me.

s’okay, talked to the doc, she said it’s one of those ways that everyone is different.

and lube/foreplay/nervousness is NOT the problem, i’m just built to spring back into shape more than most people.
