Unless GRRM burns his voluminous notes (quite possible, as Shelby Foote did with his incomplete last novel), I expect his literary executor will choose some capable fantasy writer(s) to finish the _GOT_ book series. His next of kin, who stand to profit bigtime, and many of his fans, will demand it. And that’s fine with me. There will inevitably be those who say the remaining books aren’t as good as the originals, but what the hell, I still wanna read 'em. > [@silenus](#): > > Yeah!
