# Value of CAHIMS Certification

I am taking a health informatics course this summer that is about to end. This is a field I am interested in, and I asked the professor what other courses I could take. My school does not offer any advanced informatics courses, but she said that getting the CAHIMS certification would be a good way to explore it more. How valuable is it to employers?
