I’m interested in selling fifty year old complete sets.  
How do I value it? Who buys it? Ebay does not look promising.

How about [Replacements Ltd.](http://www.replacements.com/faq.htm)? According to that page (scroll down), they buy from individuals as well as dealers.

I’ve checked them out to see about selling some Lenox china that my mom got as a wedding gift in 1955 - she never finished the set and I don’t like it. They pay very little compared to what they sell it for, and if it is a pattern they have enough of they may not buy it at all.
