Either place would be good for me. Afghan food is generally pretty hot, so if anybody has a sensitive mouth maybe Mongolie is better. Somebody decide before I have to! (Damn, I have a lot of books to get rid of! All subjects! Help me out here!) ---

There is a cut rate for vegetarians at the Mongolie Grill… at the one in Richmond, it’s 20% off. I believe that if you guess the exact price of your meal at the scales, you get a $15 gift certificate good for the next time. In Richmond, there’s a bunch of photos near the door headed “Hall of Fame.” How someone can eat $41 worth of food there is beyond me… but it’s all good. I’d help **rjk** out on the books, but I have a lot of stuff myself. Good luck with it, though! ---

I’m sure many people would consider my tastes weird. Just to skim the non-fiction: Biographies of Rod Serling (_The Twilight Zone_), Doc Holliday (gunfighter), and Willie Mosconi (pool shark). _How to Make a Monster_ (makeup for the movies). Something called _Spaceship Conspiracy_ by a Lower Mainland crank (space propulsion and how nobody believes him). Some on language and odd words. Fiction is mostly SF/fantasy, mysteries, and naval adventure (hearts of oak and all that). Yes, I have a spare copy of _Master and Commander_, and of _The Far Side of the World_ (the one the movie is mostly based on). If anybody wants to drop by, mail me at the address in my profile. So shall we say Mongolie Grill next Saturday at 6:00 pm? I’ll call Monday for reservations unless anybody pops up and insists on their own favourite place. ---

Book sale in the afternoon? That’s if I’m willing to go out to Boon-aby for it! 😉 (joke name that my sister and her friends made up years ago) I’ll have to find out what time the surprise party is from my friend Sean tonight, then… he brought it up last week as something to do for his girlfriend’s birthday. At least I know someone else in the same boat as I am… having another pre-existing party on the same date for friends going away forever! Will probably keep you posted. F\_X ---
