No, seriously: one has girl sitting by a piano that seems to be magically travelling through a variety of environments, while the second has a man sort-of dancing while hanging out in the neighborhood. Visually, I can’t think of two clips that are more dissimilar. As for the song itself: it’s a hip-hop song sampling a pop song. How is it any different from of the thousands of other hip-hop songs sampling pop songs? ---

This is just a cringe humour fail. There’s the _germ_ of a funny idea somewhere there, riffing off the meme that Carlton’s song is “the whitest song ever” (as the Wayans brothers [would have it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZohbsqgklY)) and contrasting that with lived Black experience. But naah, this shits all over that germ in a patently unfunny way. ---
