I don’t get the impression they have the ratings to string us out for two or three seasons. (I don’t even know why I’m still watching, except for the whole “set in Atlanta” thing.)
My personal theory is that Sara Collins is really… _The Antichrist!_ Or maybe Senator Collins. Or Wallace Rainer. Or possibly Special Agent Lucas. But I’m afraid someone on the show is the Prince of Darkness.

Will Cibrian get more work if this is cancelled too?
I thought it was clear the kidnappers are some masonic fringe group, doing wet jobs for TPTB. Why they want to go all Stockholm syndrome on Sarah…? Who knows. I quite enjoy it.

It’s the reporter. Definitely the reporter.
I’m quite curious as to whether the dropping of Agent Brian Kinney was planned from the outset or whether there was something behind the scenes going on that necessitated his replacement.
Regardless, it seems like there are some storylines that just sort of…went away…following the break. Problem being that i’m not really sure which ones because there was the enormous honking break. Fox coulda done a nice marathon on FX to get us all caught back up again. Oh, the whole Nikki Johnson (was it Nikki Johnson?) storyline, including Sarah’s baby by, apparently, the fisherman, seems to have stopped in its tracks, so there’s one. The targeting of the daughter’s boyfriend and his possible role in the kidnapping seems to have gone buh bye too.
If Doctor Who didn’t repeat on Sci Fi I’d be so done with this show. As it is, it’s _barely_ holding me. I place the blame square on Fox for interrupting it for a month.

Also, when they were consulting the Dead Sea Scrolls for the settings on the complicated thing with all the wheels, I thought “What, are they gonna open the Stargate here?” So maybe the reporter lady is really just a host for some alien symbiote, and in a couple more episodes her eyes will get all funny and she’ll start talking in the Deep Scary Voice.

Heh…you know, if the show DID turn out to be about an alien invasion, 1)Eddie Cibrian would be right at home and 2)I might get interested in it again.

Oooh, it’s really just a clever way to wrap up _Invasion_ and those two other shows that were about aliens in the ocean but also got cancelled. That’d be _sweet_.
