# Vaseline...or spit?

We just picked up a bottle of Astroglide but haven’t tried it yet. We have been using something called Slippery Stuff Gel, which true to its name was nice and slippery, but McWife complained that it often felt kind of “burny”. Never an enjoyable sensation back there.

I prefer [Wet](http://www.wetinternational.com/wetproducts/wet_original.shtml), myself. I have no idea why Vaseline is associated with anal sex; it doesn’t feel that nice.

It’s old-school and therefore makes a good punchline, and practically speaking it’s damn persistent stuff.
