Will the SDMB be using vBulletin 3.0, now that it’s out of beta and RC testing?

The SDMB is running RC4. The release he is speaking of is vBulletin 3.0.0 Gold.

I knew someone would say that.

vB 3.0.0 RC 4 is still a beta version.

vB 3.0.0 Gold – the final version, out of testing – was released last Friday. [I’m running it now](http://www.cyburbia.org/forums/). Not much has changed from RC 4 that we’d notice with the SDMB limited feature set implementation, but some stability and security issues were addressed.
