Just booked a week at the Palazzo in Vegas (mid-week to mid-week). Aside from renting some time at a craps table, what else is going on? If we’re there for the week, any must-dos (helicopter tour)? We’ve been a handful of times so have caught a few long-running shows (e.g., Penn & Teller, Jubilee!) and the fountains… we’re thinking of an excursion or two to round things out.

Seems like every site that lists events lists _every_ event—every casino show and every snippet of entertainment. It’s a bit to sift through. We’re not big fans of the Cirque de Franchise, but are massive jamband and funk fans (Parliament, New Mastersounds, Galactic), so if anyone knows of a killer show, that would be great.

Thoughts?

the best fun I had in Vegas with a fistful of quarters was… The Pinball Hall Of Fame!

The local alternative free rag is the [Las Vegas Weekly](http://www.lasvegasweekly.com/). They would have the most current listings of entertainment that probably is more what you are looking for.
