# vegetarian cooking for a crowd

I wouldn’t want to try to cook Chinese or Indian food to real Chinese or Indian kids. I’m sure whatever I come up with would be vastly inferior to their own mama’s cooking. It’s tonight, so I’m going to go with a simple pasta and veggies option.

Yeah, and I’m not even sure they’d prefer Chinese or Indian food. I grew up in a Polish household. The last thing I or any of my Polish-background classmates wanted when we went out was Polish food. We wanted pizza or spaghetti or whatever, not Polish food. And when I attend Indian events (I’m a photographer), there is often a pasta or pizza station that is well visited by the Indian kids. Pasta is usually a very safe option for a broad range of palates.
