Vehicle with the largest gas tank?

C5 Corvettes have a 17.5 gallon tank, which gives them a 525-mile freeway range.

But they can stay under water a long time. That’s why their always in seach of Blaaaaiiiiiines.

Not a “Sport Ute”, though.

How about the Saturn V moonrocket?

It’s mostly fuel tank!

The original question said “vehicle”.

We have a 1994 GMC 3/4 ton Suburban with a 42 gal tank, so your memory is probably correct. The first time we filled it all the way up it cost $150.00+. Now we just get $50.00 worth at a time and only drive it when necessary.

Hold yer horses, kids. Yeah, that Saturn V is a ve-hicle all right, but a one-shot deal.

You want something that will get you cross-country in standard trim? The all-new Dodge Ram Long Hauler is just around the corner…

170 gallons standard, 1,700 mile range. That’s LAX to ORD, then fill 'er up and you can reach anywhere from Maine to Miami.

I really like the idea of the center-mounted tank. If you could eliminate the underbed gas tanks that are standard on pickups, you could lower the bed, lowering the CG, and making loading much easier.

He narrows the definition of “vehicle” in the OP.
