Just releasing pressure. I have to kind of ‘give’ a meeting in half an hour. It’s one of those meetings which are pointless but have to happen because Upper-Management want them to happen. Not looking for advice or anything… Just venting. **ARRRRRRHH!!!** ---

I find meetings to be quite useful and productive, as long as the people in the meeting are motivated and all try to get useful discussion done. I suspect what you hate is _your co-workers_, not meetings per se. ---

By your title, I thought that you would be complaining about going to a Two-Minutes Hate meeting. Or you work was organizing a Klan rally or something. It’s refreshing to know the truth. So does upper management in the UK use words like “utilise” and “paradigm shift” all the time in their meetings? ---

Think of Dibert and you have a good starting point for imagining where I might work. ---

I feel your pain, man. My entire day on Friday consisted of one pointless for-the-benefit-of-mgmt meeting after another. Because it’s not like I had any real work to do or anything. :rolleyes: ---
