Well, that was interesting. Not quite as good as some of the other eps this season, but still entertaining. I liked Hank discovering the joys of the hand drier.

I missed parts of this one due to phone calls, but The Monarch’s line about The Phantom Limb’s accident - “one, he can mess a guy up just by touching him; two, he became _a humorless dick_” - was a scream.

I haven’t seen season 1 yet, but this has been my favorite episode that I’ve seen so far. It definitely made me laugh the most! The Technotronic, Republica, and Yaz references were classic, naked ass-kicking Brock was awesome, the Empire Strikes Back shout-out (and fake-out) with Billy’s hand were perfect, and it was cool to see everyone’s different versions of Phantom Limb’s origin.
And Kim was hot, as was Dr. Girlfriend. I hope we see more of them, possibly teamed up as supervillains.

Well presumably her father has removed the portal to the netherworld stored in her closet (note her change of clothes) which negated one of the prime motivations for her to be the way she was.
Who the hell taught Dean to shave like that?
This was the most awesome Brock fight since the Joy-can thingy. Loved Phantom Limb wringing his hands menacingly.
Funny how some animation styles just really work for hot women/girls.

Dr. Girlfriend has always been hot… until she opens her mouth. I am curious as to where they’re going to go with that.

Yeah, I could see Dr. Girlfriend branching off on her own with Kim as sidekick. That would be cool (and hot). She clearly doesn’t like being with Phantom Limb, and I don’t see her going back to The Monarch, either.
I wonder what “theme” they might have. So many sexy possibilities…

One odd thing is that Kim met the boys before at the pool during the Molotov episode.

Did The Monarch say “teh” in the episode?
He was talking about how he met the girl on the livejournal (putting “the” in front of ‘hip’ concepts is usually good for a laugh.), and said “when I sent her a picture of my prison-carved abs, she said I was ‘teh ta-sex’” or something like that. Wasn’t quite sure.

I have a feeling that the person writing the closed captions didn’t realize that "ta-sex’ should have been spelt “teh sex”.

Well, it’s about damned time Dr. Girlfriend struck out on her own! She was clearly the brains behind the Monarch’s operation, and Phantom Limb is a chump. She’s going to be dangerous.
This was a good episode, but I’m concerned that they will go too involved with their mythology and storylines and neglect the gags. But then I think of naked, blood-soaked Brock, and think yeah, they got their gags in.
