You resemble no peanut I have ever seen Yet, somehow, you do Eaten many times in my childhood, yay I swoon tasting your goodness Then, lo, tragedy I have eaten far too many and puke, orange hue FIN and THAT, is why I can now eat only ONE circus peanut, and then quit. ---

Silly Dopers! Circus Peanuts aren’t just for ::shudder:: eating. The often maligned Circus Peanut has so many uses: [li] Use them to soak up oil spills in your driveway[/li][li] Nail them to the wall and use them as doorknob bumpers[/li][li] Rub Circus Peanuts in your window tracks to keep them opening and closing smoothly[/li][li] On your way to important business meetings, use Circus Peanuts to give your shoes a quick buffing[/li][li] Flatten Circus Peanuts and stick them inside new shoes to prevent chafing behind your heels[/li][li] Toss a few in the frying pan after cooking bacon to soak up all that excess grease, then simply toss the Circus Peanuts in the trash (or eat them if you’re a really sick bastard).[/li][li] Hang them around vegetation in your yard to repel deer and other pests[/li][li] Use Circus peanuts to fill large cracks around your windows or doorways. I try to not be the kind of poster who sees an OP he disagrees with and then heaps scorn derision upon the ideas expressed therein. Normally I say “Live and let live” “To each his own” “Different strokes for different folks” and other folksy bits of wisdom. But Damn. Circus Peanuts? That’s just plain sick. ---

Are you guys ready for this? The Circus Peanuts are gone! I can’t believe I actually ate them all so quickly. That really is gross. That’s 1110 calories worth of Circus Peanut right there, and that is truly awful. Blech. Never again… until a couple weeks from now. Then, once again I shall have a Circus Peanut party. Whenever I actually attend a dopefest, I will be sure to bring them with me, and leave them around in the place of gathering. Ohhhhh boy. I really love Circus Peanuts 🙂 . MarxBoy ---

My mother always said that the only Circus Peanut is a stale Circus Peanut. She would feel all the candy on the rack and pick the hardest pack she could find. If none were stale enough, she’d buy a fresh pack, open it up and let them sit until they were (almost) rock hard. Me? I can’t stand the damn things… I guess the love for Circus Peanuts isn’t genetic. Now, Peeps, on the other hand… 🙂 ---

Oooh, **Mauvaise** , your mother and I share a philosophy. 🙂 To be honest, I don’t really think Circus Peanuts are the _greatest_ candy out there, but they’re good nibbling food.
