This is a show that tells the rise and struggle to get a record deal and be one of today’s singers-entertainers in Music.
They’ve had Beyonce’, Kid Rock, Nelly, etc.
I was flipping through VH1 the other day and they had Driven Carmen Electra and Halle Berry.
Huh, these two aren’t in Music, why is VH1 featuring these two?

Carmen Electra did, indeed, start out as a singer in the late 80’s - early 90’s. She was Prince’s protege/girlfriend for a while, and then branched off into…whatever it is she does now.

VH1 had Driven - The Olson Twins, WTF - Are they in the Music Biz? No, they are in the Money Making, Annoying Girls I can think of Biz.

With your description of the “rise and struggle to get a record deal and be one of today’s singers-entertainers in Music”. I think you’re confusing this show with **VH1** ’s other signature show: _ **Behind the Music** _.
_ **Driven** _ is a series that depicts the careers of various pop-culture celebrities. It’s not focused on the music industry. Don’t forget, **VH1** has transformed itself in recent years. It no longer regards itself as an “MTV for an older generation”. It has now branded itself as a “pop-culture” channel. This is evidenced by it’s programs: “100 top Pop-Culture Icons”, and “Super-Secret Television Formulas”. Music is now just a tiny portion of it’s focus.
