I think having the moderator seated at the table with the two candidates is making it _much_ easier for her to control the ebb and flow of the debate. ---

Why does Ryan even try to do folksy, personable? He doesn’t have Reagan in his veins.\* \*I’m no fan of Reagan, but I do recognize he was a master at the personal touch. ---

I do hope Biden cools it with the interrupting and talking over Ryan. Ryan is digging his own grave just fine. I’m afraid the media narrative will be all about Biden’s laughing and “smirking”, though. ---
