Thanks, RancidYakButterTeaParty…I think I’m going to order that DVD today. You’ve been trying for 8 months, eh? So I’m guessing it’s not easy to pick up
I don’t know about a DVD, but I do know that Edgar has also played with the Flecktones on different occasions.

Of I suck…
Or I suck…At editing posts too!
There’s a great CD that one of my roommates had that was Edgar Meyer and Bella Fleck (and one other musician was featured I think)… really quite nice.
My brother-in-law is as good as anyone I have ever met at replicating Victor’s style. He’s been working on it for 11 years or so, and claims there are still a few things that Victor does that he cannot.
He can play Sinister Minister note for note, though, and we developed an arrangement of it with me on keyboard, him on bass and a drum machine with Future Man’s beats programmed in. We played it live at the talent show on a cruise ship and got a huge response. People were coming up to us all the following day, wanting to shake our hands.
Sorry I can’t help the actual OP here, but I can say I’ve seen Victor play live about nine times with the Flecktones and once with his other brothers and he is one of my favorite musicians of all time. He is an entertaining showman as well as a virtuoso, and those are precious gifts, indeed.
