Good company, lots of laughs, and I met a Doper who has actually danced with [Frankie Manning](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankie_Manning)! ---

It was definitely a pleasure to meet everybody! I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to talk to **Quiddity, featherlou** , and Jim when I saw you later on at Swans, but I hope you had a good wander about Victoria, and enjoyed the music. ---
(d&r)
Bwah! It was very nice indeed to put faces and voices to the names, and I am immensely proud of myself for venturing out in public despite dread shyness. (Really!) You were all enormously not-scary! …no parking ticket waiting on the car, either! [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/victoria-day-dopefest-in-victoria-anyone/402501.md?page=2)
