I missed the Video Game Awards on SpikeTV last night. [Spiketv.com](http://Spiketv.com) was no help - they require the flash plugin to see the results, and since I’m at work downloading a plugin is not in the cards.

Can someone please give me the rundown of the categories, nominees & winners?

Game of the Year: GTA: SA  
Game based on a movie: Chron. of Riddick  
Best driving game: Burnout 3  
Best action game: GTA: SA  
Best sports game: Madden NFL 2005  
Best fighting game: Mortal Combat: Deception  
Designer of the year: Jason Jones (Halo 2)  
Best first person shooter: Halo 2  
Best PC game: Half-Life 2  
Best graphics: Half-Life 2  
Best MMORPG: City of Heros (for some reason World of Warcraft wasn’t nominated)  
Best RPG: Fable  
Best military game: Call of Duty: Finest Hour

Those are the major ones.

If the show was half as annoying as [this summary](http://www.grimwell.com/?action=fullnews&id=218) makes it sound, I’m damn glad I missed it.

“Most Addictive Game fueled by Mountain Dew”? _WTF???_ :eek: :smack:
