I am stoked for Rome: Total War-Barbarian Invasion. Hopefully it’ll be worth the money. I’ve been playing this game for the last week straight, and I can’t get bored of it, so I hope the expansion pack will add some new stuff to the game. I’m currently playing as Egypt and I own all the middle east and most of North Africa. I’m waiting until payday so I can buy X-Men Legends 2 And I can’t wait for Civ. IV. I’ve probaly put in a good couple of hundred hours on the 3rd one. And of course the X-Box 360. ---

There’s the new Zelda, but that’s not till spring. If Fatal Frame 3 is half as good as 2, I’ll be getting it. Ultimate Spider Man looks good. That will be going on my birthday/christmas list to replace hte delayed Zelda. There’s a new Final Fantasy game coming out soon. Have to get that one. ---

Oooh, yeah, the Ultimate Spiderman game received good reviews as well. Sounds like it could be a lot of fun. I personally am waiting for the long awaited _good_ game for the PSP. Everything seems to have a lot of promise, but then they fail to realize their potentials. I’m tempted to sell it and buy a DS. ---

Ratchet and Clank 4 is coming out soon. I love me some Ratchet and Clank platforming goodness (I’ve been playing platformers for a long, long time and platformers and RPGs make up most of my video game collection). Plus, Insomniac is really good about rewarding players of the previous games with free weapons and discounts and the like. ---

I’m really looking forward to \*Shadow of the Colossus \* (PS2) and _Lost in Blue_ (Nintendo DS). I’m also really excited about _Trapt_ (PS2), which is the latest game in the Deception/Kagero series, a vastly underrated and incredibly fun franchise of games, only a few of which have been released in the U.S. This is the first PS2 entry in the series that’s getting released over here, and it looks [incredibly fun](http://ps2.ign.com/objects/690/690627.html). I’m also starting to get hyped up about _Final Fantasy XII_ - it really looks amazing, but I’m worried about that realtime battle system. ---

Not for the Playstation. There’s a Daxter game for the PSP, but I think that otherwise the series is over. Seriously, after the ending of Jak 3, where is there to go with the story? ---

I’m a little disappointed in the offerings this year. Last year was a game-gasm – within the same 6 weeks last fall, I purchased: - Halo2 - GTA:SA - POP3:WOW - Jak 3 - Ratchet & Clank 3 (Can you tell I like platforming?) This year brings: - Jak 4 (“combat racing”?!? ) - Ratchet 4 I’m not seeing much else that looks interesting, it may be a slow year for me. ---

Oh, I wasn’t counting the racing game as a Jak game. See, I keep those two genres seperate in my mind: Mario/Mario Kart, Crash/Crash Team Racing, and now Jak/Jak racing game. I also don’t buy the racing games, so unless Naughty Dog comes out with a new platformer for the PS2 the series is over for me. ---

Your problem is that you just like the wrong type of games 🙂 This year is going to be the best in recent memory, from my point of view: Indigo Prophecy, 9.28.05 Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, 10.17.05 Age of Empires III, 10.18.05 Civilization IV, 10.24.05 Soul Calibur III, 10.25.05 (that nine day period right there is a murderer’s row) And after the new year: Heroes of Might and Magic V, 2.01.06 The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Q2 2006 Final Fantasy XII, 5.01.06 Stuff I’m not as interested in coming out in the fall/holidays includes the new Katamari game (earlier this week), City of Villains, Total War Rome expansion, Black and White 2, and more.
