Have not ran into anyone in RL that promotes nationwide high speed rail passenger service like it is on this board, repeatedly. ---

I’ve never met a single person of any political persuasion or alignment on the issue of marriage equality who would ever suggest, with a straight face, that there be no legal entity called “marriage” whatsoever, that everyone should just get civil unions and marriage should only belong to religions. Not a one. ---

He wrote [Government Should Quit the Marriage Business.](http://www.rossde.com/editorials/Dershowitz_marriage.html) Naturally, I have met people in real life who have suggested with a straight face that marriage is a religious issue and no business of the state. ---
