I’ve recently begun a new workout program, and like a good, goal oriented boy, I want to set my sights high. As a result, since I consider Vin Diesel to be a near perfect physical specimen, I went looking for his measurements. I didn’t find anything, other than some clothes sizes on ebay for garments he wore in movies. Any of my fellow Dopers have any clue as to his measurements: Arms, thighs, chest, waist, hips, shoulders and collar, perhaps. If anyone knows or finds out, it would be highly appreciated if you were to share. Thanks ---

His ego is larger then the Andromeda Galaxy. Unfortunately he doesn’t seem to realize that he is now officialy "_so 5 minutes ago_ in terms of Hollywood and whatever remains of his so-called star power and career. ---

Sorry, **Quiddity** , but an IQ of 55 would give Vin Diesel just over half the intelligence of the ordinary man, while I would grant him, at best, a quarter. ---

Those numbers don’t really give a good idea of his body, since they could apply to a wide range of guys. However, if you’re interested, that site also has his **Asrologic Sign**. ---

Well, yeah, and I don’t know how reliable that information is either. The thought was that it may be easier to guess at things like chest and arm size if you had a reference point, say such as waist size. But I must admit, I had imagined him at least 190 or so. Maybe this fan site already did a bit of guessing? ---

Yeah, I saw that same site. All I have to say is notachance. I’m 6’1" with a 31" waist and a 42" chest. Now, I’ll grant that the height is probably about right, given his height ratio next to other actors on screen. However, there is not a chance in all of creation that Vin and I weigh the same. I’m not even slightly pudgy and I weigh in at 170. He’s WAAAAAAAAAAAAY bigger and tighter than I am. He’s got to be at least 220, with 240 being slightly more realistic. If you find anything else, let me know. BTW, a couple of side notes: I’ve seen him in numerous interviews, and Vin is actually very intelligent and articulate, with a great sense of humor besides. Hopefully he will get his head out of his perfectly sculpted ass and come back down to earth in terms of both the movies he chooses and his value. Lastly, Given my general musculature and weasel-like metabolism, it’s doubtful I could ever hit actual Diesel-size stats. I wouldn’t mind ending up a scale model, however. I don’t care if lots of people think he’s a tad over-bulked and cut. I’m set in the female dept.; so it’s not like I’m gonna buff up to help me get girls. ---

Unless you’re the same height and build as Mr. Diesel, you would look different with his measurements. Eat big, lift big, and sleep well until you get a body you like. If you’re interested in specifics, I can point you to a couple programs. ---

Is he really 6’1"? I’ve seen him in interviews, and he struck me as being a fairly small guy. Are you sure the studios aren’t pulling tricks to make us think he’s bigger than he is?
