Why did he give his Golden Globe to Jack Lemmon? It was a nice moment, but I’m not sure of the motivation. I’m sure it’s something very simple. I know there was some criticism of it. Mods, please make the title more clear or informative, if you could? Too much thinking about what I was saying. ---

He said that Lemmon was his inspiration for becoming an actor. This was his ultimate homage. Lemmon was very obviously extremely uncomfortable with it, and while I know it wasn’t Rhames’ intention I think it really embarrassed him. I wonder whatever became of the actual award. ---
