That Surfer one is good, but from what I remember from my SoCal surfing days (longboards made of balsa), and watching them today, you do not sit on the beach waiting for a big wave, you paddle out and sit on your board. ---

Anybody mention the Enjoli perfume commercial yet? I think even youngs who don’t know what it’s actually from know this verse of the theme song (I forgot this verse in the commercial was actually the second verse of a longer song): I can bring home the bacon (Enjoli) Fry it up in a pan (Enjoli) And never never never let you forget you’re a man! Weird. I remember the commercial (for Enjoli perfume, featuring the song with the line “I can bring home the bacon”) but didn’t remember the product name _at all_. Was this thing parodied, perhaps on Carol Burnett’s show? Perhaps that’s where I’m remembering it. ---
