# Virtual Choir - Profiled on NBC news

NBC Sunday evening news just ran a piece on Eric Whitacre’s Virtual Choir.

Great idea. People all over the world submit clips of themselves singing various parts. Eric received 3746 video submissions from 73 countries for _Water Night_.

My cousin sang in her college choir and is classically trained. She still sings at her church. I emailed her these links and she’s going to check into it.

I can see this project growing in size year by year. I’m intrigued that such a diverse group across the world can create such beautiful music without ever meeting.
